JPW Real Estate was first instructed by Wilton & Bain in 2010 to dispose of its offices at 145 Leadenhall Street in the insurance district and to find new, larger premises. Wilton & Bain were aggressively growing and wanted new premises which reflected the direction the firm was going in.
JPW Real Estate negotiated terms for a new lease for a term of 10 years, with a break in September 2015, for the 5th floor at 50 St. Mary Axe. The floor comprised approximately 3,600 sq ft and also had the benefit of a south-westerly facing terrace.
50 St. Mary Axe is a Grade A, mixed use building, completed in 2009 and located in the heart of EC3 on the border of the traditional insurance and banking locations in the City of London.
