Based in Tower Hamlets, local charity Providence Row are an organisation committed to tackling the root causes of homelessness within the borough to help people get off, and stay off, the streets.
Not only do Providence Row provide nourishment and a warm place to go for those spending cold nights on the streets, they also ensure that their clients get the help they need in other areas of their lives. For vulnerable people, building skills and confidence is vital to the process of moving away from a life of homelessness. Providence Row help their clients to do this through a range of activities, such as cooking, basic IT and English skills, whilst also treating drug and alcohol addiction or mental health problems.
