The City Ski Championships, organised and hosted by Momentum Ski, was established over 20 years' ago. This years' tournament was held in Courmayeur, Italy, in partnership with the Financial Times and Knight Frank, which attracted over 250 attendees. The championships took place Thursday 30th January - Sunday 2nd February 2020. The long weekend involved ski racing, as well as gala dinners, the Financial Times forum and après ski events.
The City Ski Championships attracted a variety of skiers from businesses across England & Europe. A variety of teams took part in the races formed by companies, social clubs and friends taking part. The long weekend provided a variety of events to encourage participants to network and socialise through their mutual passion for skiing and the mountains.
Amelia participated as part of the Hurlingham team, a private members club in South West London. The team took part in 2 races over the weekend, the giant slalom and the team distance challenge, going on to win the Giant Slalom: Interclub Team Award.
It was a fantastic weekend consisting of plenty of skiing, events and making new contacts. We are already looking forward to 2021!
